This South Indian curry originates from Goa and is delicious cooked with coconut cream.

Traditionally cooked with beef but also excellent with lamb and chicken (at half strength) and accompanied with vegetable or potatoes.

This 280g jar will cook with approximately 3kg of meat, vegetables or seafood – 20 servings.

Ingredients

Water, Canola Oil, Vinegar, Onion Powder, Chilli Powder, Coriander Seed, Turmeric, Ginger Powder, Garlic Powder, Black Mustard Seed, Cumin Seed, Fennel Seed, Sea Salt, Cinnamon, Cloves

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tbsp Goa Curry Paste (more if you like hotter)
  • 500 grams Beef, cut small
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream

Method:

  1. Add the Goa Curry Paste to a pan, add the meat and seal on high heat, stir well.
  2. Add the coconut cream and enough water to make gravy to cook.
  3. Bring to the boil, then cook simmering until the meat is tender and the liquid has reduced.
  4. Serve the curry with rice, Naan bread, yoghurt and chutney.
