I bought a box of these at a recent expo (Cairns), I have used 3 so far, and plus made a huge batch of the naan bread…oh my goodness, SO amazing! I bought extra jars, but I really didn’t need to. Each jar is filled to the brim with spices and there are 12 jars. That is a LOT of curry! Excellent value, and absolutely delicious so far.

This is the box set for anyone who hasnt cooked a curry before. Fabulous spice mixes make it easy. Even if you’ve cooked curries before, try this product. No more hit and miss with mixing the spices, these are perfect as they are.

I have purchased many a bottle of spice mix and my fav is the box set, as it has a variety of choices…every Christmas I send presents to family, friends, and clients and try to be eclectic with my choices in present giving and the box set was ideal, and moreover, they can ship directly to the recipient…last night I cooked a batch of the South Indian Vegetables, with at least 6 different veggies and added chickpeas to the mix with some rice and boiled some eggs to take for work and school lunches, just to be different and it was delicious 🙂

I love curries, but am a mediocre cook. I’m one of those people who can’t think what to cook. That’s why I bought this box. So far I’ve tried 2 of these flavours and they did not disappoint. It was so easy. I did one on the stove top and the other I did in my ecopot. They both turned out perfectly. The recipe leaflet was easy to follow. Much cheaper than buying takeaway where you get lots of sauce and only a few pieces of meat.

I recently ordered the box set which was recommended to me by a friend who absolutely raved about your product, so had to try it for myself. You put a smile on my face when I opened the box and saw a personalised “thank you” note sitting on top of the spices. It made it so much more personal. I’ve only made one dish (following your recipe) since the box arrived last week and was amazed at the outcome. The curry tasted really authentic! It was delicious. The recipe was so easy to follow. I am having trouble finding galangal in supermarkets but substituted it with ginger instead. Would have liked more “hot” jars (there is only one) but we have chillies in our garden so can always add extra heat 😁. Fantastic way to find out which curries you like with a smorgasbord of blends. I’ve only purchased the big single blends in the past, and for a relative who likes curries, but an only make butter chicken with pre-made sauces, this parcel is epic. 12 different options, but enough in each bottle to make plenty to find out which one you like. Packaged up very well with recipes and the delivery was in a couple of days. I’ve had the Mudgereeba Spices for over 15 years, and great to see the expanded ranges now available. An excellent gift to give to someone moving out on their own.
