Thyme Leaves are dried from the Thymus Vulgaris Shrub. The name “thyme” means “to fumigate” in Greek and most likely relates to the aroma that it generates from the burning of the herb in ancient Greek temples. Nowadays we commonly use thyme to flavour meats and marinades, its especially a common ingredient found in blended seasonings for lamb.

This chutney has proven to be very popular. It is sweet and summery with amazing Mango flavour and a good ‘kick’ of chilli at the end.
Care instructions:
Do NOT Refrigerate EVER. Serve with a clean dry spoon and store in the pantry after opening.
This chutney will remain in perfect condition as long as you ensure there is no contamination from food or water particles.
Never return any unfinished portions to the jar or use a serving utensil used for anything else.
Chinese 5 Spice (35g) harmoniously blends the five key flavours of Chinese cooking – sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and umami. This spice mix includes star anise, cloves, Chinese cinnamon, Sichuan pepper, and fennel seeds, perfect for adding a complex flavour profile to marinades, stir-fries, and roasted meats.
Sea Salt Rock can be used in a salt mill or ground over dishes for a fresh, clean taste. These large crystals provide a pure saltiness that enhances the natural flavours of foods, adding depth to your culinary creations.
Cinnamon Cassia Flat Bark offers a stronger, more robust flavour than Ceylon cinnamon, making it ideal for baking and cooking where a bold cinnamon flavour is desired, perfect for infusing into teas and other warm beverages.
Almond Flake Blanched adds a delicate, buttery crunch to desserts, salads, and yogurts. These thinly sliced almonds, with their skins removed for a smooth taste, are perfect for garnishing and baking.

Turmeric is a flowering plant, Curcuma longa, of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae, the rhizomes of which are used in cooking.
There are 2 main types of turmeric, Madras which is this one, is the more commonly one used for cooking and has a curcumin value of around 3.5%. The other variety is Alleppey and has a higher curcumin level of around 5-6% and is mostly used for the medicinal benefits. Best used with black pepper, which contains piperine. Piperine is a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2,000%.
Madras is used in curries, stews, focaccias, soups and can even be added to eggs.
