  • 3½ tbsp butter/ghee (50 g)
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped (1 tsp minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped (1 tsp minced ginger)
  • 6 finely chopped green chillies/capsicum
  • 2 tbsp Parsee Chicken & Cashew Korma Masala

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut cream or Greek style yoghurt

Add the coconut cream/yoghurt, cashew nuts and salt.
Bring to the boil, then cook simmering until the meat is tender and the liquid has reduced.

I love the Parsee Chicken Korma Curry with Cashews and so do all my family. I have now purchased one jar for my daughter and also one for my grand daughter who is about to leave home, both of whom have asked for the recipe!

    • Flavour & Spice (store manager)

  3. Sue Randall (verified owner)

My mum and I both love the Parsee Chicken and Cashew Curry as it is very mild but very tasty. I had a small jar that I purchased last year at Floriade and we have now used it and I decided to buy a larger jar so that we can this curry regularly.

Pepitas/Pumpkin Seed Whole

PRICE REDUCED – BUY NOW – AVAILABLE ONLY UNTIL STOCKS LAST!!

A pepita is harvested from specific hull-less pumpkin varieties, known as Styrian or Oil Seed pumpkins. They even have hip names like Lady Godiva, Naked Bear, and Kakai Hulless Pumpkin. Any other variety of pumpkin produces a hulled seed that’s slightly fibrous and less tender.

Pepitas de calabazza is a Spanish word that literally means ‘little seeds of squash’. These are little green seeds that date back at least some thousand years.  They’re commonly used in Mexican dishes and are also eaten as a healthy snack after they’re roasted. Over the years, they’ve become widely available across the globe and can be found in all the seasons.  Pepitas taste quite like sunflower seeds as they have a light, nutty flavor. Their crunchy texture makes them a perfect addition to salads and granola.
