Thyme Leaves are dried from the Thymus Vulgaris Shrub. The name “thyme” means “to fumigate” in Greek and most likely relates to the aroma that it generates from the burning of the herb in ancient Greek temples. Nowadays we commonly use thyme to flavour meats and marinades, its especially a common ingredient found in blended seasonings for lamb.

Tandoori masala curry is a flavurful dish that originated in India, specifically in the northern region of Punjab.
