All spice powder is a versatile spice that is commonly used in a variety of dishes. It is made from the dried berries of the allspice tree, which is native to Central and South America. The flavour of allspice is a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, making it a great addition to both sweet and savoury dishes.
In savoury dishes, allspice is often used in meat dishes such as jerk chicken or beef stew. It can also be used in soups, curries, and sauces. In sweet dishes, allspice is commonly used in baked goods such as pies, cakes, and cookies. It can also be used to flavour hot drinks like cider or mulled wine.

Asafoetida is a gum from a variety of giant fennel, which naturally has a strong and pungent smell, rather like rotting garlic (as in foetid). It’s a very useful spice for those who can’t eat onion or garlic, as it adds a similar depth and savouriness to food.

Thyme powder is commonly used as a seasoning in cooking, particularly in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. It can be used to add flavour to soups, stews, meats, and vegetables. Some people also use thyme powder for medicinal purposes, as it has been shown to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

This is a Hot, Louisiana-Style Pepper Sauce that is such a versatile condiment for nearly all kinds of food.
The Habanero chilli comes from the Amazonas region and whilst Mexico is the largest consumer of this spicy ingredient, it has fast become increasingly popular all over the world.
Once recognised by the Guinness book of World Records as the world’s hottest chilli, it’s 50 times hotter than a Jalapeno coming in at 300,000 Scoville Heat Units.
