Description

Black Magic BBQ Sauce

This is the first BBQ Sauce in the world made using the Chocolate Reapers.

This is the only sauce of any kind in the world available with the Chocolate Reaper.

The original Carolina Reaper (HP22B) chilli was ranked as the hottest chilli in the world, according to Guinness World Records in 2013 at an average of 1,569,300 Scoville Heat Units. Then, in early 2018, it was re-tested and re-classified at 1,641,183 – Wow, that’s HOT!

The Chocolate Carolina Reaper is a rare strain of the Carolina Reaper Chilli and it is believed to be even spicier than the original Carolina Reaper. The Chocolate Carolina Reaper was created by crossing the Red Carolina Reaper pepper and the Chocolate Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper.

It has a very strong floral aroma is described as fruity, sweet, and slightly smoky, and the intense heat level kicks in shortly after consumption.

We’ve taken this amazing chilli and infused it into our award-winning BBQ sauce with fresh tomato, fresh garlic, fresh onion, molasses and spices for a delicious combination of BBQ flavours with intense heat. Please – proceed with caution on your Steak Sanga and eat responsibly!

Serving Suggestions

Brisket, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork, anything off the BBQ such as hamburgers, steak sandwiches and meat lovers or BBQ chicken pizza.

White Magic BBQ Sauce

Different from any other BBQ sauce, this White Magic BBQ Sauce uses mayo as a base, along with vinegar, sugar and spices. A USA southern favourite!

Alabama White BBQ Sauce was created by Robert Gibson at Big Bob Gibson’s Bar-B-Q in Decatur, Alabama in 1925 for their famous smoked chicken. At Big Bob’s BBQ joint, they dunk smoked chicken into vats of the sauce before serving. The sauce clings to the meat, offering up a tanginess and rich flavour you won’t get with any other BBQ sauce.

Its tangy peppery taste goes well with poultry, pork, seafood, and wild game and is made to dunk, drizzle, and slather all over smoked chicken for a classic Alabama BBQ experience.

The mad saucier here has taken this classic recipe and “Cobrafied” it by tweaking a few ingredients and adding the amazing Yellow Scotch Bonnet Chilli for a little extra smooth punch. Enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

Prime Rib, drizzled over brisket or ribs, fried or smoked chicken and turkey, a tangy vegetable dip or a dressing for coleslaw and taters.

Sri Lanka Beef Curry Masala Mild (240g)

This Sri Lankan Beef Curry is traditionally quite hot but we decided to take out all the chilli and make it quite mild – a family favourite.

This allows you to add your own chilli powder or fresh chilli and increase the heat to what you require to suit the needs.

This curry can be cooked with any meat, seafood or vegetables.

If you would like to change this curry back to its original, traditional heat, when cooking, instead of adding 2 tbsp of the Sri Lanka Beef Curry Masala to 1kg of meat, substitute this with 1 tbsp of chilli powder and 1 tbsp of Sri Lanka Beef Curry Masala.

This 250g jar will cook with approximately 10kg of meat, vegetables or seafood – 50 servings.

We also have an alternate, modern version in our recipe section. It’s the one we cook at shows.

Cinnamon Verum Ground (Sri Lanka)

Origin:  Sri Lanka (Ceylon)

Verum cinnamon is used for its health benefits and subtle flavour, it MAY help regulate blood sugar levels by improving insulin sensitivity. It may also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which could help protect against certain diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Additionally, verum cinnamon may have antimicrobial properties that make it effective against certain types of bacteria and fungi.

What’s the difference between CASSIS and VERUM?

There are two types of cinnamon: Cassia cinnamon and Ceylon cinnamon, also known as true cinnamon. The main difference between the two is their flavour profile and where they come from.

Cassia cinnamon is the more commonly used variety and is native to China, also grown in Vietnam. It has a stronger, sweeter flavour and the the colour may be slightly darker. It is also cheaper and more readily available than Ceylon cinnamon. However, it contains higher levels of coumarin, which can be toxic in large amounts. So, take it easy on the cinnamon donuts 🙂

Ceylon cinnamon, on the other hand, is native to Sri Lanka and has a more delicate and subtle flavour and a more complex aroma. It is also more expensive and harder to find than cassia cinnamon.
