Flavourful, yet subtle is the key to a great fish seasoning. You don’t want to overpower the delicate and fresh flavour of a good fillet or wild caught prawns straight off the trawler,  Taipan BBQ’s Galapagos Gold is the perfect way to achieve the best result.

Ingredients include dill for its sweet flavour and aroma, chives for a mild onion flavour, and the paprika brings the sweet and fruity notes with a little pepper, and of course lemon, for the bright and zingy taste that completes any seafood dish.  This blend is also an excellent choice for chicken wings, grilled on the Barbie, served with salad and avocado.

Made with all natural ingredients and None of the Nasties.

Sea Salt Black fine

Sea Salt Black Fine (20g)

Origin:  India

Black sea salt, also known as kala namak, is a type of rock salt that is commonly used in South Asian cuisine. It is harvested from the volcanic regions of Pakistan and India, and has a distinctive pinkish-grey colour and a sulfurous aroma. Despite its name, black sea salt is not actually black in colour, but gains its name from the colour of the rocks from which it is extracted. It is often used as a flavuor enhancer in dishes such as chaat, chutneys, and raitas, and is also used in Ayurvedic medicine for its purported health benefits.

Ancho Chilli

Chilli Mexican Ancho Poblano

Origin: Mexico

Net weight of chilli varies between 14-20gms each.

Ancho chilli, is a dried version of the poblano pepper, a staple in Mexican cuisine. When fresh, poblano peppers are green and have a mild flavour, but once dried, they turn a dark, wrinkled, reddish-black and are known as Ancho chillies. This drying process enhances their flavor, giving them a rich, smoky, and slightly sweet taste with subtle notes of raisin and chocolate. Ancho chillies are not particularly hot, typically registering between 1,000 to 2,000 on the Scoville Heat Scale, making them accessible to those who prefer milder spice levels.

Ancho chillies are incredibly versatile and are used in a variety of dishes to add depth and complexity. They are a key ingredient in traditional Mexican mole sauces, where their unique flavour profile complements the other spices and ingredients perfectly. Additionally, they can be rehydrated by soaking in hot water, then blended into sauces or purees, or even ground into a powder to be used as a seasoning for meats, stews, and soups. Their rich flavour can elevate a dish without overwhelming it with heat.

CPS150BG Bubblegum Pepper Sauce Ultra Hot (150ml)

Bubblegum Pepper Sauce Ultra Hot (150ml)

A splash-on sauce made with the rare and exciting Bubblegum 7 Pot chilli.

The Bubblegum chilli comes in at 850,000 SHUs and was created by Jon Harper. As the “Father” of this variety, and based in the UK, he has been growing this and a lot of other Hybrids for a number of years. Jon called it Bubblegum because he thought it had a taste of Bubblicious Bubblegum, while others say the name is because the chilli has a mixed colour stem and crown that looks like bubblegum.

All we can say is, good luck with picking the flavour of bubblegum – that’s a challenge for diehard chilliheads only.
