Tom yum or tom yam is a type of hot and sour Thai soup, usually cooked with shrimp.
Tom yum has its origin in Thailand.
The words “tom yam” are derived from two Thai words. Tom refers to the boiling process, while yam refers to a Thai spicy and sour salad.
This South Indian curry originates from Goa and is delicious cooked with coconut cream.
Traditionally cooked with beef but also excellent with lamb and chicken (at half strength) and accompanied with vegetable or potatoes.
WARNING: This is a pure spice mix, with a spicy medium heat, so if you heap your tablespoon when cooking, the curry will be hot.
This 250g jar will cook with approximately 9kg of meat, vegetables or seafood – 45 servings.
This is a Tandoori Colour only – not a spice.
It adds no flavour, just colour.
It’s great to add to Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken dishes.
A little bit goes a very long way – most dishes will only require 1/4 of a teaspoon to a couple of kilograms of other ingredients.

Cooking Tip: Mix 1 tsp to 1 cup water to make a cooking stock for an alternative flavour boost.
