Traditional Queensland Mango & Lime Chutney Mild (300g)
AUD $16
A variation of our original traditional mango chutney.
Originating from Buderim, in Queensland, it has been a favourite among our customers since we first started business in 1993.
It features crystallised ginger and raisins and is a favourite for those who just love an ‘Aussie” chutney but now with a tropical Lime vibe.
Try mango & lime chutney on a grilled cheese sandwich or add a dollop to your prawn salad dressing. You can also warm up mango & limecchutney for a yummy sauce served on grilled or roasted chicken, serve with fresh rice salad or baked root vegetables in Winter.
Besides being a traditional accompaniment to many Indian dishes, here are some great ideas of how to enjoy our gorgeous chutney!
- Serve with savoury tarts i.e goat and beetroot tart, perfect!
- Add to mayonnaise and spread on sandwiches.
- Mix a spoon to a small bowl of barbecue sauce, gives your humble chicken burger some boom!
- Dollop a small amount of both chutney and sour cream on a corn chip.
- Great on grilled cheese sandwiches
- Adds oomph to your turkey or chicken stuffing.
- Bring some zing and fruitiness to your salad dressing.
- Perfect flavour addition to egg tart pastries.
- And, always pop a couple of different chutney options on a cheese platter!
